Sold bike, new owner selling for 1000 more

Sold my bike last week for 3600, now he selling for 4700. I kinda feel pissed about it. He talked me down from 4000. My loss, but still feel screwed. Oh well, all the best to him, I guess. So undecided if I should be pissed or not. What you think?

I don't really see the difference between this situation and if you were to trade your vehicle in at a dealership where they will turn around and sell it at a higher price as well. So no, I wouldn't be pissed.

I had the same thing happen a few years back.
Advertised a quad cheap because it had some issues, needed an axle and carrier, and something in the auto clutch was ratteling bad. I knew it when we got it and traded accordingly. I welded the axle and hub together and told the guy we sold it to everything. I see the exact same thing advertised 2 weeks later, just re painted for about 1500 more online. What got me mad was the guy agreed on a price with us, we met him near the city and we got there and he tried to low ball and offered half of what we agreed on. When we told him we would take the tires off and throw the machine away for that price and loaded it back in the truck he changed his tune fast. I know we sold it cheap because it wasnt worth more. Same thing with the bike, if your happy with what you got then great. Let the other guy sit on it and take low ball offers. Same thing I deal with on the sport quads we have. Every one says the are worth so much but you can get near that selling them. I suspect a dirt bike is the same way.
