can am xmr
What do you guys think my next machine will be a two seater quad. What if I put a factory rear seat on a 1000 xmr, it has the longer wheelbase, would I still get a ticket for two people on machine?

I like my xmr had a few issues. One ps unit one acs module. One boot and a front axle.
All coverd no questions asked under waranty at ENNs bros. The air ride is a bit harsh in my books but you really have to look at its built for mud and water not trail riding but it will do both if asked. I have the two up seat on mine and the wife likes the ride on level 2 any more then that she says its to rough.

Give them all a test ride then you will know.
No one one here can tell you if you will or wont like the ride of a certian bike cause that is different in every mans book.

They all feel better than my 500cat with heavy tires and no power steering

No you won't have issues, the xMR is a 2 up machine without the seat. If you got the actual can am seat and not a strap on box your 100% legal.

I love mine! You can ride two up and it's super comfy and yet take the seat off and you can go play with the boys. lots of power. No issues with anything on mine at all.

Quote:
Rad relocate Stealth snorkels Aluminum handlebars with hand guards Full air ride with 6 positions and built in air compressor 30" silverbacks on 14" wheels More aggressive foot pegs Is it worth it? IMO if you look for mud then yes, if you ride trails and avoid mud then no. The 2 up seat will cost you close to $1000 on the xMR. The rad blows heat on you, fine if you need the rad up top but not enjoyable if you never see mud deeper than your tires. The snorkels are good but can be put on the regular outlanders for couple hundred bucks The silverbacks ride ok for a mud tire but are a waste if you don't need them. Air ride.... One more thing to go wrong
