ps3 problems

Hey having trouble with my ps3 online play, can sign in then I get booted in about 30 seconds after, have tried many things updated Dlink firmware, PS 3 software, reset everything, put my ps3 on DMZ on the router, accesssed all the required ports. when I do a connection test in makes it up to the point of the download speed then errors, saying the router doesn't support IP fragments.

PS 3 160gb slim
Dliink DIR-615 router B2 hardware and version2.25 firmware.

Worked fine the other day and now it don't. Kids are getting pretty mad they can't play anything online.

Can you bypass the router just to see if that's the problem?

Is all other traffic through the router functioning normally? I use the DIR-615 also and the only time I have to completely power it down is after the wireless printer is accidentally unplugged. Screws up the whole network for some reason. Took a while to figure it out as I would have connectivity toggling on and off roughly every 2 minutes.
We have run PS3, XBOX and Wii without any issues, all at the same time on some occasions.

Everything else is working fine, going to try and pick up a long enough cat 5 cable today to try and hard wire it, I've found my computers MTU rate and adjusted the PS3 MTU with no avail, no sure where to adjust the MTU on the router thou.

I actually have very little idea on what I am doing but have learnt lots in the last day reading forums and manuals. lol
