22 Rifle Shooting Competition



Proceeds in support of:

Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation’s


CIBC Run for the Cure


When: 9:00 am Saturday September 15, 2012

Where: Winnipeg Revolver and Pistol Association
Five kilometers north of the Perimeter highway on #8 (McPhillips) Highway, 1201 Miller Road
Rain or Shine, shooting under covered firing point

How: Entry fee: your donation of $25.00 to CIBC Run for the Cure
A charitable tax receipt for your donation will be provided.

1/5 scale NRA silhouette targets at distances ranging from 40 to 100 yards
Open sights, peep sights or optics on a 22LR rifle, shooting standing unsupported
Beginners welcome.

Number of participants is limited, so advance registration is recommended.

Just wanted to share with you that we have prizes donated by Princess Auto, Manitoba Wildlife Federation, Ducks Unlimited, The Keg, Wholesale Sports, Wayne Johnston Autobody and more. It should be a fun day. If anyone doesn't have a 22 and wants to participate, let me know, and they can borrow one and I'll even supply the ammo.

I'm thinking about possibly attending this. Not only do I get to put some rounds down the Cooey 64, it will be done for a good cause.... Going to talk with the boss (ie.. WIFE) and make sure she doesn't have anything planned.

Event runs tomorrow at 9:00 am. Just a couple of spots appear to be left. Looks like great weather for the event. Come and watch if you don't feel like shooting. We will have burgers at noon.
