High Lake

Has anyone been to High Lake in the last few years? Was there approx 35 years ago. I was just a little kid. The road was only accessible with 4x4s. 4x4s were rare back then! It was a party place & the fishing was good.

ice fish there for lakers but that's about it, access from east side is private...so only way in is portage from falcon

want to go there for lakers this winter, we'll have to hook up Ray, been 25 years since I been there....Colin wants to hook onto a laker in the worst way

ya forsure we'll do a trip in this winter, can get from east side with truck and quads if the snow isn't too deep....

Yeah,your timeline is right around ours,I used to get the big green cabin every weekend from before May long right through to Labour day,haven't been in there in a few years.
We used to hike it in in our early days but you might remember a cream colored Mazda RX7.Damn good times.Lakers were abundant on double twisters or 5 diamonds!
