08 king quad 750

I have a 08 750 king quad with 27" xtr's. looking at doing the shim mod and was wondering if I have to do the seconday spring and rollers in the primary or if I will see a good gain by just doing 2mm shim mod. Any advice would be great.
thanks

cobra_cs will become famous soon enough
i have done the shim mod and the full epi clutch kit. i noticed a decent gain in bottom end with just the shim mod, basically it depends on what kind of riding you do to decide on what is the best for you. with the shim mod and the epi kit which includes rollers yellow spring and stiffer secondary springs. I gained alot of bottom end grunt but did end up losing 15-20km from my top end with both done. If you do mostly trail riding shim, or shim and green primary spring should be enough, if you like plowing through the mud, i'd suggest doing it all. make sure if you do the shim mod you have enough thread left at the end of the shaft, sometimes it can be an issue. hope this helps and good luck.

Give Loudelectronics a pm. He worked my sheaves on my primary and put in a new secondary spring. Made a good improvement.
