Ensurall Extended Auto Warranty
Just purchased a used car. I am trying to get some info on this company. Has anyone had experience with them or any other Extended Auto Coverage Warranty Company.
Can't seem to find anything bad and their coverage seems to be pretty good at a decent price. |

I had the coverage from another company and was surprised that it didn't turn out to be a scam, in that they refunded the full warranty cost after the end of the 3 year warranty, because I hadn't made any claims. That was a thousand bucks I never thought I'd see again.

Unless anything has changed, the extended warrenties are a big waste of money. A very high % of money taken in goes to pay the various layers of people involved in selling them. Little mony is actualy left to administer the actual warrenties on vehicles they cover. Check the consumer guides very closely if even remotely considering giving your money to these pyramid scams for the most part.

Warranty
I have dealt with aftermarket warranty in the past as a tech & service advisor. I can't stress enough to follow your regular maintenance guide & have all receipts with documented mileage on them. Don't get me wrong, they do always pay out legit claims but I have seen leaking cam seals denied because the last oil change had surpassed the recommended mileage by 600 kms. Irrelevant yes but they follow the contract to a tee. At that point they denied the balance of the time remaining of the contract.

watch the fine print, I've dealt with extended warranty company for years. I've seen claims being denied because the "powertrain" warranty (including engine and transmission) doesn't include seals and gaskets so what the customer thought was complete powertrain warranty didn't include head gaskets, intake gaskets, etc. I've also seen a company deny warranty because they don't cover normal wear. A customer of mine in my automotive shop had gotten the powertrain warranty when they purchased a used vehicle, early 2000 model ford f150. they had brought it into my shop for a service and we noticed the rear pinion seal leaking and the pinion bearings loose, tried to make a warranty claim for them and the warranty company said that it was normal wear and not covered, the only way we got it covered for them was the fact that the bearing was pitted and the warranty company agreed that the bearing was faulty because of the pitting, if it hadn't been for that it wouldn't have been covered. probably better off to take your money and put it into savings for if and when you need it.
