Ya because the RC's have nothing better to to than to enforce this bylaw. Make a complaint and wait 3 days for them to respond to someone shooting off fireworks. It's getting to the point that you can't even sneeze in your own yard anymore without offending someone! What a joke!

wow.
thats taking things way to far. fines of up to $500 well i know what im going to do if i ever win the lottery. free metallica concert in my backyard of my newly purchased house in st. clements! followed by a burnout in a big ol diesel truck. $500 fine? so worth it.

There is always some old hag to complain about something in almost all areas. To think being fined for fireworks. This guy needs to be voted out in the next election.He doesn't have my vote and I hope all of you in the area of st clements will vote the same way.

Not surprised! I live in the village of East Selkirk and I see jack asses Scream up and down our street with quads,dirt bikes and snowmobiles with no helmets at high rates of speed 2 and 3 wide. The people around here have had enough and complain to law enforcement and the municipality and they in turn bend to people who lobby these complaints and they make these bylaws. Another case of people who have zero respect for the law and safe and respectful riding that make it bad for the rest of us! The blame rests on the Jack Asses!
