2002 polaris 600edgex upgrade questions
hey! ok so i have a 2002 polaris 600 edge x, i have owned it now for 3 years and its still running great ! buttt i want some more out of it, it currently has a rumblepack on it and thats about it when it comes to the engine, i want to know what would be some good performance upgrades that would increase not only hp but more lower end and mid range, i do 75% open lake riding and 25% trail and deep powder, any suggestions ? thanks !!

Put the stock can on. Good chance it will get faster.
Almond/ blue and possibly 2 grams heavier on the weights in the primary, secondary I have used stock helix with silver/blue spring. If you have a decent track gearing down is always fun. I have done a couple all the way down to around 1.95:1. They will run up around 90mph still and way more fun to ride. Most importantly is set the belt to sheave clearance on the primary around .020" with a new belt. Line clutches up properly, offset and CtoC. Clean both good make sure they work and are not wore out. And jet it properly. Most were a point or two rich, but you need to check. |

Good luck used. I have searched hay-days 3 years in a row now. No luck, well I found one that needed a cover.
The 2008 or so super sport 550 came with nearly the same seat as the pro-x shorty, but all black. Can be ordered new as a kit last I checked |
