papawolf is on a distinguished road
Hi all @ trackshare

Hi all @ trackshare,
Here I am a newbbie, just started riding this spring an so far am having a blast. Riding an '04 sportsman 700 twin. There are some cool gravel pits near our trailer at Petersfield Mb. and have hooked up with some riding buddies from the trailer park. Have had our share of tow outs, and break downs, but so far ... well now I'm in the process of replacing the rear diff. tie rods, ball joints, bearings, etc. (some I knew about when I bought my machine, some I didn't) 9anyone got any tips on bearings? heard somewhere that Escort wheel bearings work and are much cheaper)Went to my first derby at St. Jean. had a good time watching the mudders and shaking my 60 + year old head. Hope to get my machine up and running to get another ride before it gets too cold.
Well that's it for now,
papawolf (that's my grandson's name for me)

Welcome! Wow St Jean as your first Derby!!! It must have been an eye opener to say the least. As for bearings "all balls" are a lot cheaper than OEM and "pivot works" have tie rod ends, bearings and other upgraded kits are less expensive. ...See you on the trails!
