arctic cat H1 engine bearings

Buddy and i each bought new 2009 arctic cat Quads with the H1 engine
Luckily we purchased extended warranty, with 2200 km's on his the complete engine has to be replaced, mine only has 1100 km's and the bottom end is gone
Any one else have a problem with these motors, especially the 09's, curious to know what may be the problem, bad crank bearings hopefully just in that year????? Just seems suspicious that both 09's need that kind of work, both purchased at the same time , same dealer

Replaced lots of cranks on the h1 engines seems to be common problem when oil changes are neglected. Did a 550 crank with less than a thousand.

I have a 2010 700 H1 and I have wondered if I had a "noisy" engine. Everything seems OK so far, but just seems like the engine is noisier than others. Just got it back from some warranty work. Something went inside the tranny -- one way bearing or something like that. Always had fresh oil. Only have 1200 k's on it.

I think a lot of the noise on mine is coming from the clutch.

Way louder...most of it is due to the metal clutch cases causing echoing ....and the rollers arent all matched perfect weight wise making them even louder.

You have one of the best engines in a cat if you ask me...the 700 zuki motor is quite and SO tough
