O ya one more question cement floor is kind of chipping away where vehicles were parked from the salt just wondering of there's something I could buy to pour over it and level it for winter at least just so the sled dollies roll good

You might have to "re-learn" the remote to the opener. There is usually a little button on the opener you hold as you push the button on the remote

As for the floor, you can buy a pail of floor leveler, and dump it in the low spots. Not sure how that will hold up long term though

And if neither of those work, don't blame me Lol

dont use the floor leveler product...it will just come out. Use specialized floor product from Mapai or Xypex...both can get from your local hardware floor. But ask for the product that is for covering flat surfaces. Usually you cant go more than 1/4" of this stuff. It is part epoxy and part concrete mix. Both companies have a full line of products for this or water seepage in basement, etc.

if you have the multi button opener hard wired you may have it on lock check that first it will stop the garage opener from working. if you have the black 3 button chamberlin hard wired make sure the led light is solid on it should be green solid if flashing keypad is locked. thats in the relearn still dosent work,

Open your remote up as older remotes had dip (little rocker switches) inside of them. They had to be setup the same as the sip switches on the opener itself. Now I'm really dating myself. LOL Don't know if your garage door opener is that old, but it might be.

did you program a home button on the visor in one of your cars....some cars come with a garage door button already installed.

Dependant on what way you programmed that one....it could of changed the code and the original remotes dont work. You have to relearn each remote. Push the relearn button on the closer then point and hold the remote 2 inches away and it will be reprogramed.

If it is a new opener than it should be the type that changes it's own security code as you use it. As mentioned in the quote above, check your hard wired door opener buttons to make sure it is not in the lock mode which prevents remotes from working. Also as previously mentioned, if should have a coloured button (different Chamberlain models have different colours) on the back side of the motor of the door opener. For your remote to relearn the code, you need to press the coloured button and then press the remote button within something like 5 seconds for the remote to learn the code. I have 2 Chamberlains in my shop and they are different models. If all this confusion of instructions doesn't work, maybe post the model number of your opener and I (or someone else) might have the instruction manual. With make and model you might be able to find the manual on line. Good luck.

google the model number of opener and you should be able to find the instructions for that specific model and how to program remotes
