"Mike Chudd and his crew decided to put together an F1100 Turbo for asphalt, their previous record of 145.9 mph on their 09 Z1 was broken today with a 147.3 mph run!! The best part about it was that it was done on the 3rd full pass of the day! Traction was a major issue for us today and the side wind hindered from going any faster! I had the opportunity to pilot the sled down the track and all I can say is HOLY FU@k!!! Once the sled finally got traction the Gforce was fricken unbelievable! Just wanted to thank Mike Chudd for letting me run the sled! There's a few that need to be mentioned here as it wouldnt have happened so quickly if it wasn't for them;

Best pass was 9.41@147.3, we couldn't run the anti lag as we would just spin the track! There is an 8second pass at over 150mph guaranteed, just need some more time and some traction!!

Yes it would be a great spot for us to get a really good run out of it! Would be nice if the NHRA would amend the rules to make these Turbo's legal!
