Grass fire north or Richer?
I heard that Steinbach RCMP just evacuated some houses north of Richer due to grass fires. Anyone know about this?
With this strong wind and how dry it is, that's a baaaaad time for a fire...........

Lyndsay Morrison @LyndsayTWN An evacuation order in in place for Vita, MB residents because of a grass fire. Another fire is burning in Winnipeg's Charleswood area.

There are fires all around the area. By the way, travel bans are now in place for the south east again.

They are evac'ing the town of Ross apperantly. The fire is close to there. And yes there is a travel ban in effect in the south east. I'll post more once my conservation contact let's me know which RM's etc.
