Places to camp and ride west of PR 302????
We were looking to go riding and camping this weekend for the long weekend. It looks like we will not be able to do that since the fire/travel ban came into effect. Anyone know of areas not affected by the ban. I would be looking for riding camping on crownland kind of situation. We are fully independant. No hook-ups required.
Just wondering if the Westman crew has that kind of area out their way.

If your not opposed to campground there is Stephenfield just west of carman and its pretty close to the hippie valley/Notre dame trail, just stay on the main trail in there cuz some ppl don't like company, could also hit up deerwood wma, few miles west of Miami, lots of trails in there, although you would have to do some exploring if you've never been in there, I don't think you can camp at deerwood though, Goldminer would know more about that, fair number of archer's in there right now though

The travel ban is only south of the Trans Canada. Any of the areas north of that are still good.
