Grizzly 660 720cc big bore kit?
Hey t.s. pals! I am tossing up the idea of a big bore kit, and the reason being that my crank needs replaced. I was wanting to upgrade to more power, but really like my grizzly. So I searched around for big bore kits, and found a 102mm 720cc big bore hotrods stroker crank rebuild crank. $850 get me: crank, rod, piston, jug, main bearings, and all gaskets and such. First of all is this a dependable setup, second of all what kind of jetting or even carb will I need to feed this beast enough air/fuel. I know it's a lot of power for the axles and even diffs but I plan on installing gorilla axles and I guess just let the diffs take the stress. I do not run big rubber so it will be a bit less stressful on components, as I only run 26 inch executioners. Is there anything else I will have to do to accommodate the power/ torque increase. Any other mods while the engines out that's reasonably cheap? Thanks
HK

I can definitely tell you that Loudelectronics at off road traction would be, and should be your place to call about upgrading. If LE knows anything, he is the master when it comes to grizzlies and power add ons. He will know what works and what doesn't, especially on your machine. He has major experience with the yami's. and if nothing else, he will surely know which kit is best for your application.

Who's kit is it? What brands of stroker crank and piston are they using?
Let me know the details and I can help you out.

That's a decent kit. Only issue is the crank is not balanced for that piston. Minor but does throw it out of balance a bit. Barkers or crank works are a better crank but cost more.
While you are at it you should get your head done. That genesis head responds well to head work. I can set you up with that if you go that far.

How will the slightly unbalanced crank affect my performance. What does it cost approx to get the head work done? Was also looking into a machined primary sheave, and hmf exhaust. How much more would it be for the better cranks do you think LE?
Thanks for the info!
