Wow, them's fighting words. I really appreciated the long belt life I got on my grizzly, and the engine braking was really effective.

I'm definitely thinking seriously about getting a new 500 Polaris, maybe even an 850!!!

The price is right, and I'm thinking a polaris will be perfect for booting around on gravel roads and green crap-filled pastures. I'll have those cool plasticky racks to bolt on all my guns, 5 gallon buckets and milk-crates, carry calves in from the field, and seasonally a crop sprayer or blade. Then I know I'll also have the weight to make sure the machine never leaves the ground unintentionally, for any reason. It will have full-time 4wd so I don't have to think about losing traction......it will simply wait for me to get stuck, then decide to turn some of the wheels to make it go deeper and deeper into whatever I'm stuck in. Besides, who's really in that much in a rush to get home anyway?
Best part is I don't really have to worry about major mechanical failure because the belt will slip and break long before I can put major strain on the powerplant!

Oh, Wait a minute, I'm not a farmer........

I prefer to drive over 22" think fallen logs, through 36" of solid mud, over rock pits and floating bogs, and straight up 45 degree vertical sandhills. I also enjoy helping my buddies out when their heavy machines sink straight down. Sometimes I even pull them out in reverse!!!
I can't catch em on the gravel or fields....but they're a really great bunch of guys who always wait the extra 12 seconds it takes for me to get there......

My Yamaha?? over 4000 kms of pure hell.....and so far cost me an axle and a relay..... both can be blamed on poor choices.....

In all honesty......Yamaha for exploring, Can-am for ripping!!! Everything else is settling for second best!!

***All in fun popo owners!!

I know its fun to poke the bear, I've been a polaris hater for a very long time, since I've started quading. Back then they were really really bad, lol.

Actually, they are a nice looking unit....but we have seen some SERIOUS reliability isues in our group. On technical trails and in the water they are about as agile as a bear on skates.....

Nope....never said slow!! Huge torque and fast as F***!!
The entire crowd of spectators and participants all went "huh???" at the same time when he won!!
A linear mud pit is hardly a proving ground for agility though....just throttle and hang on!! That dude has been tweaking that machine for years, I think he has the magic formula for popo's, but I'm not sure if he's sharing...

LOL Thats pretty funny, my dad and my uncle both run beef farms. Both ran sportsman 500's, on the farm, could not get more than a couple years out of them without needing major work orders.

Dad switched to Can-Am when the traxter came out, he had well over 20,000km on it when he parked it (and it still ran and drove) and now he has just upgraded to a 2013 outlander 650 xt from his 05 outty 400 that he just parked with 22,500km calf hauling kms on the clock!!

Uncle switched to Grizzly and never looked back either

Talking

It's so unfortunate that I see these videos now. Because the other video was a popo beating a can am and now it's the grizzly beating the popo. So I guess my canned ham is dropping to the bottom of the list. Sheesh I'm thinking next would prolly be the cat beating a grizzly and then a kawi beating a cat and so on.

These videos are all so awesome I'm so lost.

Never know , I just bought a Chevy silverado and I suppose somehow somewhere there will be a ford beating a Chevy that beat a dodge that lost to a Toyota that was towed by a Nissan.

Man oh man the confusion !!!

Next will be the iPhone 5 being faster then my iPhone 4S

And omg omg. What if shell makes better fuel then petro Canada or even esso

Snap on verse Mac !

AMD verse INTEL !!!

Mts verse Rogers !!!

I'm so lost.

And last but not least .....

Silverbacks verse Outlaws !!!!

Lmao. All in good fun peeps !!!

I wonder if I should get myself a Polaris next...hmmm. I like to go against the grain, pick the weaker quad (in perception) and make it eat the other brands...sounds fun!
