Trail Clearing Tuesday Oct. 30

Kinda late notice but me and Househunter are doing some trail clearing tomorrow probably around the Seddons area.

Meeting at the A&W in Lockport for 9:30am and then trailering out the quads. 2 saws so far.

If anyone's interested come on out. Leaving Lockport 9:30 sharp !!

Good luck guys, We've been helping the snowmobile club with their trails then we will start tackling the others. Lots of hard work and many hrs. I would have come out to help, but we still have many more miles of trails to clear here.

Great to hear the quadders helping out the sledders !!

Of all years for an "opportunity " to present itself insofar as mutual benifits between sledders and quadders, this is probably it. The stuff we did last weekend is of mutual benifit ( locals - not club ) but the word gets out on who works as opposed to working and riding !

Nice going trailboss and company !!

Hey freelance, if you notice a strange phone number on your phone, that was me. I didn't leave a message. We must have been driving circles around each other, lol.

Our plans for the day changed so we headed to Seddon's again. Don't know where you guys were, but we got to stefanuik around 10:30 to find it done so we went further down Hwy 214 to the trail that connects the centerline and rail line. It was also done. Looked like some machinery pushed trees out of the way. We ended up clearing the other trail that intersects there at the Rail line. I believe the sign read as the Mooswa Trail Jct. It connects to the Beaver. It wasn't near as bad as the Betker. There were a few trees down, across the trail so we cut and moved those along with anything hanging over the trail so it is now cleared all the way to the powerline (Beaver Trail).

Does anyone know where else needs to be done that is accessible by truck or quad?I realize the swamps need to freeze to be able to get into some areas. Was wondering what the Bigfoot and Brightstone are like?

Nope!

We were told that they may be getting a machine so anything left on the centerline doesn't need to be addressed. Oerlikon, there maybe a group heading for the Ridge riders hut on the weekend. You could call the people at the Corner Esso there at Seddons or Wally of the snopals. Otherwise try calling any of the other clubs. I'm sure woodridge area may still need some help.
