Artic Cat 440. 197x.
I lent it to a friend of mine in the early 80s and he sank it in Lake of the woods. I haven't had a sled since.

1971 AC panthera 440 it had the leopard seat, great machine just hard to keep it upright, had about a 18'' ski stance. It would dip on a dime.

Back about 1975 my dad bought me a used Ski-Doo Elan. I was 6 at the time, wasn't the fastest or nicest machine but still puts a smile on my face thinking about that old machine. Never left me stranded either!

1972 Merc Max 440. What a pig!!! Went about 20 miles on 5 gallons of gas and got stuck everywhere!! When you loaded into a 1/2 ton, it was so heavy it would almost bottom out the suspension!

First family snowmobile was a 1968 Moto-Ski Zephyr
The my dad started racing for Bridgecity Moto-Ski and it seemed we always had a newer Moto-ski in our yard for him to race in Thompson...lol
His best machine was The Grand Prix 340 Moto-Ski and he had that thing tweeked for racing oval and cross country..
My first machine I actually bought was in 1977- A 1973 Ski-doo Silverbullet..It was under powered big time so I sold it and bought a 1976 Polaris Colt 340 to race oval track, my sister had the Polaris Colt 340 S/S which she raced, but gave it to me later after she got her 1979 Polaris TX 340..

First family sled was 1967 ski-doo. I picked up two the same in the last few years. 1969 models , much the same as the 67. I do have a 67 part sled. I love the sound and the smell of those old sleds. They sound good on a cold night coming out of the bush. Brings back memories
