Don't be afraid to modify the brackets, I'm just doing the same thing myself and theres lots of good help here.

Ya had to do the same thing with my Poo tracks to fit on my new x2. I did not want to pay the 400 bucks for the new mount kit that I could do myself.

What kind of mods does a guy have to do? I dont have the ranger my father in law has it and he wants tracks (Trying to convince his wife) there is no mods required as these will fit right on the ranger

It will mean making some usually minor changes or additions to the anti-rotation linkage which commonly attach to the frame or a-arms. You would be able to use the majority of the existing mounting kit. certainly nothing very major.
